Its a bit late – but I thought I’d copy over my Facebook NY resolution post so I can keep an eye on them here too! My update is that I’ve been working hard on them all.
Here’s my personal 10 for starters..
1. Fight for new hospital budget
2. Advocate for best deal for 3 Waters
3. Be easily accessible – Run weekly Councillor Clinics
4. Save buildings – Create Heritage Action Plan
5. Help Nature – activate our environment strategy
6. Push to raise Dunedin’s profile – become a leading destination
7. Revive and deliver promised strategies
8. Work on better business and economic outcomes
9. Address cost of living through better budget control
10. Work hard to create NZ’s most liveable city
I would love your feedback about what you’d like to see Council focus on for 2023 – I have a list of over 50 priorities/policies from my campaign that I’m working through. What do you think are the most urgent/important things for Council focus on? What would you like to see from me?
Right now though I’m off to pick my gooseberries, weed my garden and find a suitable plant to put on my beloved cat Bella’s grave (I had to get her put down yesterday, so Im starting 2023 a bit sad).
